  We re hiring for a Tax Senior Manager - Digital Currency & Blockchain in our Los Angeles or New York City office. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
  
  
  • Client Service - Manage and build trusting client relationships; understand clients' business challenges and goals; work collaboratively with clients and service teams to deliver exceptional value and quality; manage and drive the success of multiple engagements while enhancing profitability; provide additional insights and business solutions that result in expanded business to clients
  • Tax technical proficiency in the taxation of C corporations and shareholders, including, but not limited to application of IRC Sections 1, 11, 162, 165, 301, 302, 304, 312, 351, 368, 1001, 1012, and 1202
  • Additional proficiency of federal income taxation of S corporations highly preferred
  • Business Development - assist in identifying opportunities, cross-selling, and promoting the Firm and practice to relevant prospective clients
  • People Management - Attract, develop and retain top talent; serve as a mentor and coach for emerging leaders; ensure effective communication and alignment of priorities
    
    Minimum Qualifications
    
    
    • Have industry expertise in technology, blockchain, and digital assets
    • Bachelor s degree in Accounting
    • 7+ years of relevant work and industry experience
    • Prior experience managing engagements and clients
    • Formal mentoring relationships with all levels of staff
    • Ability to work independently, but also work well with others
      
      Preferred Qualifications
      
      
      • CPA License or on track to obtain
      • MST, MSA, or LL.M. in Taxation strongly preferred
      • 3+ years supervisory experience
      • Software Experience - CCH ProSystem, Microsoft Office 365
