125,000/ year DOEHybrid PositionJOB SUMMARY: -The Senior Director
of Human Resources provides leadership for all human resources
functions of the organization. The Senior Director ensures that all
functions are executed in an ethical manner and in adherence to all
legal and regulatory requirements. This position serves as a
liaison between the management team and staff to ensure a healthy,
productive culture within the organization. -As a member of the
senior management team, the Senior Director of Human Resources
consults with the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Executive
Officer on employee relations issues and internal processes as
needed. This role collaborates with other senior leadership on
strategic initiatives to accomplish the overall human resources
management goals and objectives of the organization. -ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, but are not limited to the following: - -
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans
for HR infrastructure (systems, processes, and personnel) designed
to support the mission and strategic goals of the organization. - -
Regularly review and make recommendations to executive management
for improvement of the organization's policies, procedures and
practices on human resources matters. - - Directly or indirectly
supervise the staff of the Human Resources department and encourage
ongoing staff development. - - Refine the vision and plan for
recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and retention of all staff
in accordance with equal employment and agency's diversity
policies. - - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local
regulations and contractual requirements of funding agencies
relating to personnel practices. - Plan, direct and supervise all
activities relating to the administration of employee benefit
programs in a manner that ensures cost-effectiveness, market
competitiveness, and internal equity among employees. - -
Administer compensation program; conduct annual compensation
analysis; make recommendations to executive team regarding employee
compensation structure. - - In partnership with training
department, oversee implementation and/or administration of
employee development programs and activities. - - Develop and
maintain a human resource information system that meets the
organization's human resources information needs. - - Oversee
maintenance and updating of the Employee Handbook. Provide
recommendations for development and improvement of the agency's
human resources policies and procedures. - - Direct the maintenance
of electronic and physical personnel records for all staff. - -
Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer and Controller on
operations including, but not limited to benefits, compensation,
budgets, and other Human Resources functions which significantly
impact the agency's finance and administration concerns. - - Serve
as a senior staff representative on task force committees as
assigned by the CEO. - - Prepare and monitor annual budget and
expenditures for the Human Resources functions of the organization.
- - Other duties as assigned. -PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND
WORK ENVIRONMENT: - - Standing and sitting for long periods of time
along with being able to move and walk to various locations;
climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, bending,
twisting, and lifting (30-35 lbs.). - - Ability to clearly receive
and give instructions/data/information. - - Complex reading and
writing skills, memorization skills,
-analytical/perceptive/comprehensive capabilities, judgment and
decision-making capability. - - Respond effectively to the most
sensitive inquiries or complaints. - High level concentration and
attention to detail for extended periods of time required. - -

and specific knowledge of the principles, practices and legal
considerations of human resources administration. - - Maintain
current knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment
law and regulations. - - Ability to develop long-term plans and
programs relating to human resources management. - - Ability to
establish and maintain relationships with staff, directors, and
benefit consultants. - - Ability to present facts and
recommendations effectively in oral and written form. - - Ability
to coordinate information systems using ADP, Google Suite, and
Microsoft Office application programs. - - Ability to lead with

implement changeEDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: - - At a
minimum, completion of a Human Resources Management Certificate
Program from an accredited college or university is required.
Bachelors and/or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business
Administration or related subject\ highly desired. - A minimum of
seven (7) years of human resources experience, with at least five
(5) years' management level experience in planning and developing
human resources policies and systems. - - Three (3) years'
experience in staff supervision. - - SPHR or SHRM-CP or equivalent
certification is strongly preferred. -**Union Station Homeless
