Established CPA and consulting firm looking for an experienced, sharp-minded and personable tax senior to join our team in Pasadena. Our clients include partnerships, individuals, trusts and small to large size businesses with needs for comprehensive services such as consulting, accounting and tax compliance. We are looking for someone who is willing to provide outstanding services for our clients. The ideal candidate must be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, organized and have superior communication skills.DutiesReview federal and multi-state income tax returns for partnerships, corporations, S corporations, trust and individuals and related income tax workpapersPrepare more complex client work and delegate entry level work to staff accountantsPrioritize to meet expectations in a deadline driven, fast paced environmentProvide exceptional service to every client by providing individual attention, and responsivenessIdentify tax issues and propose strategies to resolve themTrain and mentor new and present staff by creating an encouraging work environment that promotes open communication among all group membersParticipate in recruiting and other business development initiatives RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of related experienceBachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldPrevious experience in a public accounting firmCPA or eligible to take CPA ExamSuperior verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and take initiatives on projectsExceptional project and time management skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to be flexible in a fast-paced environmentMaster's degree in Tax a plusProficiency in ProSystem, Lacerte, CCH, BNA, QuickBooks and Microsoft OfficeSalary range: $80,000 to $90,000Benefits & Perks:Paid Time Off9 paid holidaysBreakfast on FridaysCPA License renewal feesReimbursement for professional organization fees, such as AICPA, CalCPA membershipPaid parkingCasual dress code year-roundBusy season dinnersDrinks and snacks provided year-round401(k) with employer matchMedical, Dental, Vision & Disability InsuranceMasters of Taxation tuition reimbursementFormal Technical Training Continuing Professional education Willing to sponsor H1B Transfer PM21
