Our client is a high growth SAAS company based in Los Angeles

About the Job

-

Responsible for financial bookkeeping, accounting, billing, and Accounts Receivables duties for a fast growing Software as a Service company.

-

Ideally, we are looking for someone that has experience doing the below functions (hands-on role) in a software / SaaS company and understands associated accounting and book-keeping functions

Accounts Receivable Duties:

-

• Prepare and submit supplier setup documentation
• Prepare and submit customer invoices
• Code and post payments
• Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payments

  Accounts Payable Duties:
  
  -
  
• Check, verify and process invoices
• Sort, code and enter accounts payable data
• Obtain approvals for invoice payments
• Maintain and Process 1099s for new vendors
  -
  
  Payroll/HR Function:
  
  -
  
• Set up new hire data in payroll system
• Set up monthly payroll for final approval
• Prepare and post payroll journal entries to GL
• Set up access to benefits enrollment system
  -
  
  G/L:
  
  -
  
• Assist with month-end close
• Assist with entity consolidation and
• Perform account reconciliations
• Other ad-hoc projects
  -
  
  Qualifications:
  
  -
  
  Required Experience:
  
  -
  
• BA/B.Sc. in Accounting or Business
• Minimum three years' experience working in an accounting department preferably with a dynamic high-tech, SAAS company
• Proficient with MS software (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience working with multiple accounting ERP software packages
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
