Lakewood, CO (Onsite) Pay Rate: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Employment
Type: Contract/Temporary through LHH Position Overview LHH is
seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage multi-country payroll
operations for U.S. and Canada. This role supports accurate and
compliant payroll processing, handles complex payroll transactions,
and partners closely with internal teams to ensure data integrity
and consistency across payroll systems. The ideal candidate is
detail-oriented, experienced with ADP Workforce Now, and
comfortable managing confidential and time-sensitive payroll
matters. Key Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end payroll processing
for U.S. and Canada in compliance with federal, state/provincial,
and local regulations. Process complex payroll items including
multi-state adjustments, bonuses, retroactive pay, and year-end
reconciliations. Support recurring payroll tasks and assist with
special projects (new hires, terminations, employee conversions).
Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and statements. Respond to
employee payroll inquiries and provide accurate support.
Collaborate with tax, HR/People Operations, and mobility teams to
ensure payroll accuracy. Assist with payroll audits, system
implementations, integrations, and acquisitions. Maintain
timekeeping records within Bullhorn and resolve discrepancies.
Support SOP updates, payroll reconciliations, and process
improvements. Serve as a payroll subject-matter resource.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of
education and experience. Experience managing payroll for exempt
and non-exempt employees. 2 years of ADP Workforce Now experience
required. Experience with Bullhorn or similar timekeeping systems
required. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of
payroll law, tax withholding, garnishments, wage and hour
regulations, and payroll accounting. High attention to detail,
strong analytical ability, and the ability to prioritize in a
deadline-driven environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality
and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. FPC
certification is preferred. Benefits Benefit offerings include
