Job DescriptionKitchen United is looking for a Marketing Assistant to help create, drive, and maintain our current center locations marketing efforts. This will be in partnership with the Marketing Campaign Manager who you will report into. Your efforts will have a direct impact on the revenue stream for our currently open centers. Marketing Campaign Manager who will assign tasks such as developing content for upcoming location launches; while they focus on our new center openings and the mission to create excitement and attention for launch. Part of the duties you manage will be the online presence via social media platforms, local listings, as well as driving traffic directly to our kitchen centers. This is a perfect role for someone with 1-3 years of experience in similar marketing efforts who is passionate about reshaping the way people enjoy food. You will create material that advocates this message while capturing data and reporting regarding its impact to sales. You will learn the fundamentals of ghost/commercial kitchen operations on a fast-paced team in a rapidly changing industry. We are looking for a high energy, self-starter, excellent communicator, who loves working in marketing and making an impact!Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the marketing manager, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy.
  • Helping with vendor research and key opportunities for innovation
  • Learning and working with various types of software for digital marketing.
  • Help maintain correspondence with agencies to track and evaluate results of owned organic social media and influencer efforts
  • Providing administrative support to the marketing team and data entry as needed.
  • Assisting with creation of QR codes, discount codes, and tracking parameters for all marketing items
  • Preparing, formatting and editing a range of documents.
  • Compile and prepare creative material presentations and assist in internal and partner team meetings
  • Understanding the company and brand.
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics as necessary
  • Help manage local listings to ensure information is up to date
  • Help with implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies; coordinating with agencies and freelancers when necessary
  • Assisting with correspondence with paid media agency to keep projects moving
  • Compiling reports for omni-channel campaigns to help measure success, impact and inform future strategy and optimizations.
  • Organizing assets and files on Google Drive by project
  • Help with Asana task creation and project management to ensure dates are up to date with all requested detailed information
  • Moderate all user-generated content on social media channels to engage directly with community when needed
  • Assist in arranging kitchen center events
  • Maintaining, changing, and improving content on our website, including updating imagery, text, and contact forms
  • Work with Marketing Campaign Manager and partners to create content calendars and build more opportunities for community engagement on social channels and local listings
  • Collaborate with other departments (client success, licensed brands, operations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
  • Support marketing team efforts as needed outside of key responsibilities.Requirements
    • Bachelors in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or related field preferred
    • 1-3 years of experience in a marketing or related field
    • Must be detail oriented, highly organized, analytical, while still being able to see the big picture
    • Flexible and patient, able to assess and address last-minute problems immediately (excellent problem-solving skills)
    • Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite
    • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
    • Can-do, positive attitude and willing to go the extra mile
    • Must be a collaborative and positive team player
    • Capable of managing several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
    • Position will be remote until company returns to Pasadena HQ
    • Startup experience is a plus
    • Ability to enthusiastically represent the company and its services
    • Strong follow-up and time management skills
    • You bring a high level of energy and are committed to achieving your targets set and goals in a dynamic environment
    • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
    • Experienced with Social Media Platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Experience with Yelp Business, Google My Business, or Yext is a plus
    • Experience with Google Analytics is a plus
    • General knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
    • Understanding of paid media is a plus
    • Experience with in-person event planning or social media coverage is a plusBenefits
