Evaluate continually and redesign where appropriate all aspects of the admissions program with the goal of maintaining a capacity enrollment of qualified students and a wait-list of qualified applicants.2. Direct the admissions process from point of inquiry through enrollment.3. - - - -Conduct outreach to current and prospective families using a warm, friendly, and positive approach while representing the school and its mission. 4. - - - -Engage and inform prospective families about the benefits of a New Horizon education.5. - - - -Maintain excellent recordkeeping and data entry for all admissions inquiries and prospective students.6. - - - -Coordinate and manage systematic and efficient handling of applications and communication with families with full usage of school's SIS. 7. - - - -Follow up with applicants on tours, testing, records, and responding to questions.8. - - - -Maintain a coordinated calendar of tours, interviews, and testing dates in coordination with HOS and division heads. -9. - - - -Prepare necessary information for Admissions decision-making.10. -Communicate admissions decisions to families.11. -Upon student acceptance, facilitate the enrollment process with new families.12. -Follow up with post-enrollment processes (e.g., required paperwork, etc.) 13. -Comply with the school's and accrediting organization's guidelines for enrollment and admissions management.14. -Track all data related to admissions: -inquiries, applicants, acceptances, enrollment, attrition for internal school purposes as well as for accrediting organizations.15. -Manage the re-enrollment of current students for the succeeding year with constant monitoring of attrition and retention.16. -Provide weekly and/or monthly reports to HOS and Business Office on admissions and enrollment data.17. -Establish and maintain positive relationships with area educational constituencies including area schools, preschools, consultants, admissions directors and organizations and create networking opportunities.18. -Work closely with Business Office on matters related to finance.19. -Maintain a pleasant and functional workspace. -For Marketing and RecruitmentIn collaboration with the HOS and Marketing Staff

  • Design and implement a comprehensive strategic plan of marketing and recruitment activities to achieve enrollment targets.
  • Promote and develop strong working relationships and create networking opportunities with outside institutions or groups that can be helpful in attracting quality students.
  • Develop strategies for involving alumni, parents, former parents and current students in the recruiting process.
  • Initiate, create and directly participate in innovative programs and activities intended to interest parents and potential supporters in sending students to NHSP.
  • Coordinate opportunities for marketing and recruitment through school fairs, connecting with prospective students and parents.
  • Work on social media promotion of the school and enrollment opportunities.
  • Update the school website's admissions pages with pertinent information and images.
  • Create email messages using school's communication platform (e.g., Constant Contact, MailChimp, etc.) to tell the school's story for prospective families.
  • Regularly take pictures of school activities and use for marketing purposes.For Benchmarking, Research, and Assessment
  • Prepare and maintain relevant statistics on all aspects of the admissions and recruitment efforts including geographical distribution of students, financial aid/flexible tuition, and attrition using the school's database system (RenWeb/FACTS) as well as Excel.
  • Update school's Dashboard on an annual basis as well as NAIS DASL.
  • Track and analyze effectiveness of marketing initiatives and activities.
  • Interpret these statistics, when appropriate, to administration. -For Registrar Role1. - - - -Manage the enrollment/re-enrollment processes for admissions (new families) and for current families re-enrolling for upcoming school year.2. - - - -Provide regular reporting on re-enrollment and admissions data for the administration. -3. - - - -Work closely with Business Office on financial matters.4. - - - -Process transcript requests for international (temporary stay) families.For Leadership Team
  • Serve on the School Leadership Team, supporting the school and its daily operations and strategic goals.
  • Participate in yearly planning with admissions and recruitment focus.Other
  • Organize any hospitality needs for admissions, recruitment or marketing events.
