Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This
opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position
serving K-12 students with an elementary caseload in Inyokern, CA.
This contract runs from mid-February to late May 2026 and requires
onsite presence to meet district needs. The role offers a chance to
support foundational communication and language skills during a
critical portion of the academic year. Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, treatment, and intervention services to
elementary students with speech and language impairments
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to
develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain detailed
documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Utilize
evidence-based practices to address a range of speech, language,
and communication disorders Participate in ongoing professional
development as required Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP preferred)
Experience working in school settings with K-12 caseloads
Demonstrated ability to manage elementary-level speech therapy
caseloads Strong interpersonal and communication skills for
effective team collaboration Commitment to onsite service delivery
and adaptability within a school environment Location: Inyokern,
California, within a committed school district This is a contract
position for the current school year (CSY) with a standard
37.5-hour work week. Candidates should be prepared to deliver all
services onsite, replacing virtual roles currently in place.
