Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A Special Education Teacher is needed immediately for a
full-time position in Wilmington, DE, with an opportunity to extend
through the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves providing
specialized support to 10th and 12th graders, primarily delivering
push-in services within English classrooms as well as managing two
small group English classes, serving around 23 students. The
position operates Monday through Friday onsite from 7:45 AM to 3:25
PM, including a lunch break and two prep periods. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver push-in instructional support to 10th and
12th grade English classrooms. Manage and teach two small group
English classes tailored for students with special education needs.
Collaborate with English teachers and support staff to develop
tailored learning plans. Monitor and document student progress to
inform educational adjustments. Maintain a positive and supportive
classroom environment. Qualifications: Valid Special Education
teaching certification. Experience working with high school
students, particularly in inclusive classroom settings. Strong
communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage small
groups and differentiate instruction based on student needs.
