Responsibilities The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: Designing low-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution systems, lighting systems, and other electrical/control systems for industrial, commercial, and manufacturing facilities. Developing industrial, commercial, and manufacturing control systems, including plant-wide integration of PLC and network hardware, interconnections, and control panel design. Performing electrical and control engineering tasks such as design, drafting, engineering calculations, and preparing specifications. Working under the mentorship of a senior engineer on comprehensive electrical and control design packages, including diagrams, plans, details, panel arrangements, bills of materials, and hazardous area classifications. Managing assigned electrical and controls work packages, coordinating with other disciplines and drafting teams, and prioritizing deliverables while remaining adaptable to changing project needs. Communicating effectively with team members and clients, both verbally and in writing. Participating in fieldwork for engineering surveys and commissioning activities. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. 1-10 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in design and drafting using AutoCAD or MicroStation (or both) preferred. EIT (FE) certification preferred but not required. A commitment to taking the FE or PE exam in the near future is essential. Benefits Stakeholders bonus (additional profit sharing) is typically between 4% and 8%.
