We are looking for an experienced, hands-on individual to own the end-to-end administration of Tetra Tech's stock plans and related areas. You will partner closely with HR, Legal, Accounting and Payroll to administer our global equity programs. This position reports to the SVP of HR and has one dotted-line report. Your Role:

  • Administer stock plans, including processing restricted stock unit (RSU and PSU) grants, stock option exercises, share releases, modifications, cancellations, stock unit deferrals, and quarterly dividend equivalents
  • Reconcile monthly equity and common stock activity, including shares outstanding and share reserves among company records and third-party vendors
  • Maintain policies and procedures related to stock administration, and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and foreign regulations along with securities laws
  • Develop and deliver timely documentation and communications related to stock awards
  • Maintain all equity award related data in a third-party database and periodically validate accuracy of database information
  • Generate and review for accuracy, recurring and ad-hoc reports for Finance, Accounting, Payroll, HR, Internal Audit and Legal teams for purposes of but not limited to Form 4, Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, Proxy Statement, and company stock ownership guidelines
  • Manage and track the 10b5-1 plans
  • Serve as primary liaison with the company's brokerage firm and transfer agent to maintain employee equity and shareholder accounts
  • Provide excellent customer service while prioritizing and satisfying multiple questions and requests from participants, senior management and others supporting the understanding of stock plan services, overall plan design and individual transactions
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver educational materials and customized resources for participants on a worldwide basis
  • Assist with special projects and transactions as assigned Qualifications:
    • 7+ years of public company stock plan and transfer agent administration experience handling daily operations, reporting, audit/reconciliation, and employee customer service in a fast-paced global company
    • CEP (Certified Equity Professional) certification
    • Experience with U.S. federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation and general knowledge of global taxation principles
    • Understanding of accounting standards relating to equity compensation
    • Experience managing a third-party stock administration system (knowledge of Equity Edge Online administration system preferred, including reporting)
    • Experience managing a third-party transfer agent (knowledge of the Computershare transfer agent administration platform a plus)
    • Strong communication skills and experience preparing employee communications which are both easy to understand and informative
    • Capable of operating in a fast-paced environment while managing long-term projects using a collaborative work style
    • Extreme attention to detail and ability to execute tasks with no or minimal supervision
    • Possess enthusiasm, a positive attitude and ability to perform as a team player, which may include supporting non-equity related tasks (e.g., benefits, comp, or retirement plan assignments)
