KARL STORZ is currently seeking a Manager, Sales Compensation to
join their finance department. This role will require work in the
El Segundo, CA office one to two days per week.
This highly visible role leads a group of Analysts supporting the
administration of Sales Compensation programs across KSEA. Requires
high interaction with Executives and Sales/Marketing leadership.
Must be an excellent communicator willing to partner with a wide
range of personalities and functional departments.
Responsible for managing a team of Financial Analysts focused upon
modeling, budgeting, reporting, and administering all aspects of
multiple plans. Provide financial analysis, monthly and quarterly
reporting, forecasting, planning, variance analysis, database
creation, and other ad hoc analysis. Must be extremely detailed and
time-attentive to review and submit accurate monthly, quarterly,
annual payrolls on schedule. Reports to the Director, Financial
Planning.
Responsibilities
Education
A minimum education level of aBachelors Degree
MBA preferred Requirements
7+ years of experience (preferably in a medium to large sized
organization)
Requires 2+ years of previous management experience in corporate
finance
Requires previous experience supporting the Sales and/or Marketing
groups of a Distributor
Requires EXCELLENT interpersonal communications skills,
presentation skills, and significant experience working with people
at all levels of an organization
Requires the ability to communicate Financial concepts effectively
across departments or to individuals of a complimentary
expertise
Requires the ability to establish a high integrity process to
manage and manipulate large data sets efficiently and accurately on
a recurring basis
Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to
multi-task
Ability to work from the macro to the micro level and vice
versa
Familiarity with accounting concepts and income statement/balance
sheet impact
Strong quantitative analysis skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, knowledge of Access and ERP systems,
preferably SAP
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight
deadlines
Ability to create and maintain reports and related processes
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Excellent time management and prioritization skills
Service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed
expectations
An ability to leverage systems/software to optimize process
efficiency
Strong problem solving skills combined with ability to self start
to execute on program initiatives are a must
Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple
sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into
details, and abstract up from low-level information to a general
understanding
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and
in a team environment
