Number 1173636 Date posted 04/05/2023 Develops an external network
of affiliated providers to support Southern California Network
Expansion markets and Medical Center based SCPMG contracted
services. Designs, develops and manages integrated delivery models,
develops long-term network strategies; negotiates with potential KP
partners; establishes and manages the supporting infrastructure of
Network operations.
- Upholds Kaiser Permanentes Policies and Procedures, Principles
of Responsibilities and applicable state, federal and local
laws.
- Initiates, administers and supports expansion market growth,
using network delivery structures.
- This includes establishing collaborative relationships with
other functional areas to support and manage the network,
identifying associated costs as well as human and systems resource
requirements.
- Establishes monitoring and reporting mechanisms to ensure that
the network meets performance objectives and targets.
- Establishes and ensures compliance with measurable performance
objectives and controls for the affiliated provider network and for
the contract negotiation and administration activities.
- Gains the support of the organizations leadership for the
implementation of a network and contract delivery strategy.
- Serves as SCPMG executive representative of outside services to
key Southern California and national Program Office efforts.
- Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time
as directed. Basic Qualifications: Experience
- Minimum ten (10) years of outside medical contract experience;
including seven (7) years of management experience in the
healthcare industry. Education
- MPH/MHA/MBA, (or equivalent experience in healthcare
administration, business administration, or related field with
extensive knowledge of health care regulatory, clinical and
operational issues). License, Certification, Registration
- N/A Additional Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of contract
negotiation/management/evaluation, network
design/development/operation/management, utilization management,
quality assurance and related activities, including appropriate
clinical, financial and administrative expertise.
- Exceptional communication (presentation, written and verbal),
interpersonal and, project/general management skills.
- Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership
