The Project Manager will work in our Innovative Zero Emissions Vehicle Infrastructure Incentive initiative to support the teamin linking incentives for infrastructure (EnergIIZE Commercial Vehicles project, )) with established and emerging zero-emissions vehicles in the school bus, transit, and drayage vocations.
Additionally, the Project Manager will:

  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders via email, website, webinars, public events, and public meetings.
  • Assist in the development of Implementation Manual Addendums and relevant project governance documents.
  • Assist with regular project updates on Monday.com and assist Lead Project Manager in building consensus and document decisions.
  • Identify activities in program data which drive progress and project performance.
  • Make recommendations concerning long-range plans.
  • Assist with performance metrics and research to quantify impacts of charging infrastructure in terms of environmental benefits and costs, community and equity impacts, grid and utility benefits, and cost efficiencies.
  • Assist with rollout of project applications, data reporting procedures, and applicant requirements.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, environmental sciences, sustainability, policy, related field, or equivalent training and years of experience.
    • Experience in program evaluation or analysis using a broad set of data analysis.
    • Experience working in program management and/or environmental/sustainability program development.
    • 2+ years of experience in project management, including management of operational plans, goals, project scopes with tasks/deliverables and timelines.
    • Knowledge of transportation planning and funding.
    • Knowledge of light, medium- and heavy-duty e-mobility and infrastructure programs
    • Experience managing operational plans, goals, objectives, project scopes with tasks and timelines.
    • Knowledgeable of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
    • Experience in data collection and development of KPI report.
    • Experience analyzing and interpreting data.
    • Experience scheduling and coordinating meetings with external stakeholders.
    • Experience establishing priorities and managing multiple activities to meet multipledeadlines.
    • Experience managing public and private stakeholder engagement and outreach strategy to expand and enhance participation and industry transformation.
    • Ability to proofread or edit work for writing style, correct syntax and tenses, fact-checking, and grammatical errors.
      Desired Qualifications
      • Master's Degree or other advanced/professional degree in public administration, public policy, environmental management, sustainability, business, urban or transportation planning, or other related fields of research.
      • Experience working with community-based organizations and applying strategies to promote equity and environmental justice.
      • Experience with regional, state, or federal government program analysis and program development.

          CALSTART includes the complete salary range amount $62,000-$81,840 of the job announced. We determine pay based on education, experience, internal equity, and any other factors relevant to the job. Pay for this role will typically be from $62,000-$68,200.
