Job Description:
This individual will work closely with the Estate Settlement
Administrator on all aspects of the account administration.The
individual will assume primary responsibility for the day to day
operations of the account, which includes overseeing asset
collection, discovery of assets and liabilities, compilation of
information for all tax returns and other administrative and client
matters. Major Duties Work closely with the Estate Settlement
Administrator to understand all aspects of the
administration.Oversee day to day operations, ensuring that client
and advisor expectations are appropriately met. Manage the
collection and valuation process of financial, personal and real
property process including communicating with outside custodians,
providers and others to obtain all asset and liability information
required for tax return preparation. Prepare accounting products to
allow for appropriate accounting of assets, distribution and
reporting. Communicate with clients and outside advisors, as
requested by Estate Settlement Administrator, on all aspects of the
administration. Work with compliance, operations, specialty asset,
tax and other areas to ensure all client reporting and
administrative needs are met appropriately. Maintain a working
knowledge of various bank products and services to facilitate
client delivery and to expand existing relationships. Comply with
all fiduciary, risk management and other guidelines. Qualifications
A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work
experience is preferred. 3-5 years experience in financial
servicing or related experience/credentials preferred. Excellent
oral and written communication skills are required In-depth
Functional / Industry Knowledge of personal trust, estate, guardian
and Advisory services and products, usually acquired through
related work experience, is required Knowledge of internal bank
trust functions is required Analytical, problem solving, and
organizational skills are required Highly flexible and adaptable to
change Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) is
required Knowledge of fiduciary duties, basic accounting, and
operations, usually acquired through formal education or related
experience is required to service clients.Analytic and organization
skills required to manage complex client situations. In office This
is an office-based position and for the effective performance of
this role, the duties and responsibilities must be carried out
onsite. 201 South Lake Avenue, Suite 600, Pasadena, 91101 Salary
range: $83,000 to $95,000. Salary range is an estimate of base pay.
