A company is looking for a Head of Global Incident
Management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and optimize the global 24/7 incident response team, ensuring
effective collaboration and escalation
Develop and manage the incident response strategy and roadmap,
aligning with company reliability standards
Analyze incidents to drive improvements and collaborate with
engineering to enhance incident response workflows
Required Qualifications
10+ years of management experience, including 4+ years managing
managers
8+ years of experience in incident response for large-scale
distributed services with high SLOs/SLAs
Proven ability to lead strategic projects involving multiple
stakeholders
Proficiency in basic incident troubleshooting and familiarity with
SQL, Splunk, or similar query languages
Ability to adapt communication for diverse audiences, including
executives and internal teams
