The enterprise business development team focuses on the largest, most important new partnership opportunities for Green Dot. These opportunities span the range of offerings for Green Dot, from large new retail opportunities, to next-generation disbursement opportunities powered by our SimplyPaid platform, to our Banking as a Service (BaaS) platform that powers our partnerships with some of Silicon Valley's most notable companies (Uber, Apple, Intuit). The Vice President will work closely with the SVP of Business Development in setting strategy, refining messaging and pursuing opportunities in specific verticals, with a focus on enterprise-scale partnerships. The Vice President will be expected to source opportunities and manage significant inbound inquiries, develop a pipeline, manage the pipeline and work closely with product owners, technology, legal and compliance stakeholders to close opportunities and drive significant new revenue. The role requires deep knowledge of the payments and/or banking industries, a keen interest in technology, expertise in customer-centric solution sales, and experience in coordinating across cross-functional teams to achieve aggressive revenue goals. Responsibilities Sourcing and qualifying inbound opportunities Developing enterprise go-to-market strategies for targeted verticals Researching and deeply understanding prospective partners' needs, problems and goals Deeply understanding Green Dot's capabilities across the enterprise to bring the most compelling packages of solutions to bear Leading customer presentations Coordinating with the product development, platform development and product marketing teams to scope out new opportunities for prospective partners Leading negotiations and coordinating with legal counsel Coordinating with Risk and Compliance stakeholders Developing hypotheses for new potential enterprise partners and verticals that Green Dot should pursue Manage a pipeline from lead to closed opportunities Requirements 10 years experience Bachelor degree Experience in Business Development for a technology-enabled payments or banking solution Proven track record of setting revenue targets and exceeding them Proven track record of structuring and negotiating enterprise deals Proficient at PowerPoint and Excel Familiarity with Salesforce Polished presenter Personality Traits Goal oriented and motivated by an aggressive revenue target Adept at understanding customer motivations, needs and goals Able to navigate the complexities of a partner organization and understand competing demands Master relationship builder and networker Collaborator Highly organized Persuasive
