Job Description:
A rewarding leadership opportunity has now become available for
an RN Nurse Manager Stepdown Unit at a reputable short term acute
care hospital in the Greater Los Angeles region.
This award-winning facility is looking for a dedicated nurse leader
to join their compassionate multidisciplinary team. This hospital
offers a variety of services to the surrounding community
including: Maternal Child Health, Surgical Services, Cardiovascular
Care and Laboratory Services.
The RN Nurse Manager Stepdown Unit will be held accountable and
responsible for the daily operations of the Stepdown and
Progressive Care Unit. They will ensure department goals and
objectives are met and continue upholding the high standards of
quality care that is being delivered. They will be in charge of the
planning and development of the unit including staffing, education
and implementing quality improvement projects within the
Progressive Care Unit PCU.
The RN Nurse Manager Stepdown Progressive Care Unit will provide
leadership and act as a mentor to the Nurse Supervisors and Staff
Nurses RN within the department. The Nurse Manager PCU Progressive
Care Unit will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer
CNO.
