Safely obtains blood samples by venipuncture or capillary collection from clients of all ages. Works to support the general operation of the assigned section/shift. This position may require flexibility of hours. Education: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Experience/Training: Prefer at least one-year phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting drawing patients of all ages. Licenses/Certifications: Valid California State CPT-1 (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) certification Skills: Effective communication. Able to work in a fast paced environment. Excellent customer service.
