A hospital in the greater Los Angeles area is seeking a Staff Nurse Surgical Services to join their exceptional team.
This 300+ bed hospital has been serving their hospital for over 100 years. The Staff RN Perioperative Services will join a medical center that believes it’s important to treat the patient wholly and provide spiritual care as well as medical. Reporting to the Nurse Supervisor Operating Room, the OR Nurse will work with Nurse Directors, Nurse Managers, and Nursing Staff to ensure safe, quality of care in the Surgery Department. The Surgery RN, preferably, will have a BSN, but will accept an associate’s degree in Nursing.
Responsibilities for the Perioperative Nurse include patient assessments, safe, compassionate patient care, and evidence-based quality care. Also, the Surgical Services RN will help patients achieve their goals, and provide education to patients and their families.
