Compensation Range: $22.08 - $34.23 / Hour
Department: 839000 Pharmacy
Expectations: Provides administrative assistance and advanced
secretarial support. Maintains all required licenses,
certifications, and regulatory documentation. Responsible for
ordering and purchasing, both pharmaceuticals and
non-pharmaceutical supplies. Assumes responsibility without direct
supervision, exercises initiative and judgment. Coordinates special
projects as assigned.This position may require flexibility of
hours.
EDUCATION:
High School graduate or GED equivalency is required. Diploma or
transcripts on highest degree earned required.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in an acute
care hospital setting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:Required:
Current Registered Pharmacy Technician License issued by California
State Board of Pharmacy
Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) issued by Pharmacy
Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
SKILLS:
Aseptic Technique, Chemotherapy Compounding Certification,
Competency in specialized equipment (e.g. IV workflow
software).
