Job Description:

HR-1214 Wanted an Associate Medical Director, Psychiatrist, to provide leadership and direction to the Southern California Prototypes' programs. Oversee medical services for behavioral health programs, serving vulnerable Patients, dealing with mental health and substance use disorders. Provides the oversight and delivery of care and patient access to care, 60% administrative 40% Clinical, may vary, will oversee behavioral health programs in Pomona, Pasadena, and Hollywood Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring of clinical skills of providers
• Creates, contributes and implements policies pertaining behavioral and medical care
• In collaboration with Nurse Manager, program leadership, regional leadership
• Ensure quality, efficient patient care
• Provides supervision and oversight of quality of care among providers and staff
• supervising allied health care professionals and being available for consultations
• Strategize how best to allocate resources to support expanded services
• Ensures that appropriate care is delivered to all patients
• Fosters integration of services at the programs
