Optum is looking for a Spanish Fluent Primary Care Physician to join our team in Pasadena, CA . The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. We want our clinicians to take the time needed to truly address the patient s needs.

Position Details

• Join our team of (5) Primary Care Physicians and (1) Rheumatologist at our Del Mar clinic in Pasadena!
• Take over an existing patient panel from a provider who is retiring
• 40 minutes scheduled for new/senior patients, 20 minutes for follow-up appointments
• Providers at this site see an average of 18-20 patients per day
• No after-hours or weekend call responsibilities
• 1.5 MAs assigned per provider: front and back office support to help with patient flow and experience
• Location has 16 exam rooms and a dedicated office for each provider
• Onsite Pharmacy, X-Ray and Dexa
• Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

  Requirements
  • Spanish Language Fluency
  • Unrestricted CA State Medical License
  • Current CA DEA certificate required prior to start date
  • BLS, ACLS certification Preferences
