Job SummaryHuntington Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services department.Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist physicians in achieving surgical goals under the supervision of the Department Manager, Clinical Coordinator, or Charge Nurse.
• Work effectively with multiple team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
• Assist with preparing patients for surgery, including positioning and draping.
• Pass instruments to surgeons during procedures.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies.Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of operating room technologists.
  • Two years of previous experience as a surgical technologist.
  • Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
