Job OpportunityHuntington Hospital is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Gastrointestinal Service team on a per diem basis.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care and assist physicians in achieving surgical goals under the supervision of the Department Manager, Clinical Coordinator, or Charge Nurse.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless surgical procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of operating room technologists preferred.
  • Two years of previous experience as a surgical technologist preferred.
  • One year of gastrointestinal experience desired.
  • Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.Work Environment:This is a per diem position requiring flexibility of hours and is eligible for overtime pay. The ability to take on-call for patients requiring emergency procedures is also required.Compensation:Anticipated base compensation rate is in the range of $37.12 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
