Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency ServicesHuntington Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Services team. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will play a critical part in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency services environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient care to meet identified needs, utilizing critical thinking and nursing process.
• Supervise the management of patient care, including discharge planning, resource identification, and scheduling patients with required services.
• Monitor care delivery, advocate for patients, and evaluate outcomes.
• Coordinate patient care across the healthcare continuum and assist other team members in meeting individual patient needs.Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered if enrolled in a BSN program with degree completion within 2 years of hire.
  • Minimum 1 year of current experience in acute care area of expertise/equivalent service area, 2 years preferred.
  • Trauma nursing experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills/experience with computerized documentation systems required.Licenses and Certifications:
    • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
    • Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support Provider (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Provider (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association.
    • Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 30 days of hire.Preferred Certifications:
      • Current Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or related certification.Work Environment:This position may require flexibility of hours and may involve working in a fast-paced emergency services environment.Benefits:Huntington Hospital offers a competitive compensation package, including a base compensation rate of $67.83 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Employees who work a full 12-hour shift will be paid their base rate for 8 hours and overtime (1.5) for hours up to 12.
