Summary: Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Services required to
coordinate patient care, supervise nursing staff, and advocate for
patients' needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**
--- Coordinate patient care to meet identified needs
--- Supervise nursing staff and manage patient care
--- Advocate for patients' needs and rights
--- Collaborate with other team members to meet individual patient
needs
--- Participate in quality improvement processes
**Requirements:**
--- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
--- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered if enrolled in a
BSN program
--- Minimum 1 year of current experience in acute care area of
expertise
--- Trauma nursing experience preferred
--- Basic computer skills and experience with computerized
documentation systems required
**Licenses and Certifications:**
--- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California
Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
--- Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS), Pediatric Advanced
Life Support Provider (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support Provider (ACLS) issued by American Heart Association
--- Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
within 30 days of hire
**Preferred Qualifications:**
--- Current Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) or related
certification
--- ENPC required for full-time and part-time employees or within
six months of employment
**Work Environment:**
--- 12-hour shifts at Huntington Health are overtime-based
--- Employees who work a full 12-hour shift will be paid their base
rate for 8 hours and overtime for hours up to 12
