Job SummaryHuntington Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Perinatal Safety Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our Perinatal Services department, you will be responsible for promoting patient safety and quality care in our Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and Postpartum units.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement perinatal safety initiatives and core measures to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure adherence to national perinatal clinical standards
• Provide education and training on perinatal safety and quality care to nursing staff
• Participate in departmental safety decisions and OB safety committee meetings
• Partner with Risk Management to identify and address perinatal safety issuesRequirements
  • Masters Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery
  • Current unrestricted RN license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing
