Direct Support Professionals (DSP) ? Caregivers ? Independent Living Advocates ? Supported Living Services (SLS) Staff ? 1:1 Support Staff ? Home Health Support Staff ? DSPs * Caregiving and/or Behaviors Experience a Plus (not required) POSITION TITLE Independent Living Advocate / Direct Support Professional (DSP) ETTA ORGANIZATION (non-profit) DEPARTMENTS Supported Living Services (SLS) EXPERIENCE Some professional or personal experience supporting individuals with special needs (or related experience) is required. Successful applicants will have Home Health / Caregiving and/or Behaviors experience. REQUIREMENTS Must be at least 21 years of age; Must be a licensed driver for a minimum of three years; Must have an insured vehicle with your name listed as an authorized driver; Must be willing to drive with a client in your vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided); Must be willing to perform "personal hygiene" tasks (including toileting assistance for male and female clients, if occasionally needed). LOCATION Multiple job openings throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area (including L.A., the San Fernando Valley and surrounding communities). SCHEDULE (Availability Requirements) Must have Open Availability 6 to 7 days a week and be available to be scheduled anytime between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (must be open to some overnights when needed). Full Time and Part Time schedules available. START DATE As soon as possible HOURLY RATE OF PAY Starting rate is $20 per hour.
