Job Description:
Manager Nursing - Pulmonary Unit at Providence St. Joseph
Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Full-Time and will
work 8-hour Day shifts. Provides an optimal practice environment
that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for
planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a
designated patient population on one or more nursing units.
Oversees the 24-operation of the patient care unit with
accountability for leadership, budget preparation and overall
fiscal management, staffing, planning, employee relations, patient
satisfaction, practice guidelines for specialty, organizing and
controlling. Role models proactive, collaborative working
relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary
approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures,
and standards of care to ensure patients nursing care needs are

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing acceptable for Current
SJO Nurse Managers. SJO Nurse Managers and Masters Degree and
External hires required to have Masters Degree in Nursing or area
of practice. Internal transfers within SJO will obtain Masters in
Nuraing or area of practice within 3 years of hire. California
Registered Nurse License upon hire National Provider BLS - American
Heart Association upon hire 5 years recent experience in acute

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range
for this position. The successful candidates placement on the wage
range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base
pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums,
extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Providence offers a
