PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Santa Monica, California, 90404! Job Title:

weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year
required License: Valid state license required Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience
preferred Description: This position is a registered nurse in the
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The nurse will provide care to
patients recovering from anesthesia. Responsibilities include
monitoring vital signs and assessing patient conditions. The nurse
will manage arterial lines and central venous pressure. Dysrhythmia
recognition and management are also key tasks. Care of ventilated
patients will be required. The nurse will work a schedule that
includes call shifts on weeknights and weekends. First-time
travelers are accepted for this position. There is no requirement
to float between different units. Scheduling flexibility may be
accommodated at the manager's discretion. References are required
prior to the start of the assignment. Candidates must commit to
working three out of five major holidays. All travelers are
expected to adhere to compliance and background policies.
