Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 10 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience. • Travel experience is required from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a California license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Providence Health & Services. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: - Previous Cath Lab experience. - Required Work Settings: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab, Pre Post Procedure. - Required Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures: ASD Closures, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Interventional Catheterizations, Left heart catheterization, Pacemaker/Defibrillator lead extraction/removal, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Right heart catheterization, Rotablator atherectomy, Valvuloplasty, Ventricular Assist Device Insertion. - Required Electrophysiology Procedures: Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker Insertion, Tilt Table Study. - Required Medications: Antiarrhythmics, Antihypertensives, Emergency Medications, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Reversal agents, Thrombolytics. - Required IV therapy: Assist with Central Line Insertion/management, Starting and maintaining IVs. - Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Activated Clotting Time (ACT), Circulate Procedures, External Compression Devices (C-Clamp, Sandbags), Infection Prevention, Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Monitoring Procedural Sedation, Radiation and Laser Safety, Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale, Sheath Removal/Monitoring, Topical Hemostasis (D-Stat, Chito-Seal, Syvek Patch), Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose), Ventilator Management. Preferred Skills/Experience: - Work Settings: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures. - Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures: Scrub Procedures, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Watchman procedure. - Electrophysiology Procedures: Arrhythmia Induction, Baseline Measurements, Cardiac Ablation, Cardiac Mapping, Conduction Studies, Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure, Scrub Procedures. - Previous Charge and Teaching Hospital Experience Required Credentials: - SSN required. - DOB required. - LA City Fire Card within the last 30 days is required. Special Requests: - RTO: Aya Offer: 7 Days. Anything more than 7 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD). - Can only submit to one Providence facility at a time. - Open to accommodating block schedule? Per manager discretion. Shift & Scheduling: - Call Required: 5-6 shifts every 2 weeks. Every other weekend (Fri 5:30 PM - Mon 7 AM) and 1 day during the week. 30 min response time. Weekend REQ: Every other *Call only.
