Technologist II at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have the
opportunity to work 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends. The
CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses computerized
tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patients'
internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. /n
Summary of Essential Duties: /n /n - Accurately interpret a
physician’s scanning instructions /n - Administer contrast material
/n - Prepare and operate CT scan equipment /n - Ability to position
patient to capture appropriate images /n - Send images to
Radiologist for interpretation/reading /n - Cleans and disinfects
patient rooms /n - Follow infection control and safety guidelines
/n /n We are currently offering a $7500 sign-on bonus to newly
hired Techs! /n/nQualifications/n Education: /n /n - Graduate of a
JRCERT accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required
/n /n Licensure/Certifications: /n /n - American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification (ARRT-R) required
/n - California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification
required /n - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT
certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or willing to obtain within 1
year from start date /n - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
/n - Venipuncture certification required /n /n /n Experience: /n /n
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist
required /n - Applicants with less than 2 years of experience may
be considered as a CT Tech I /n - Experience in a hospital setting
required, including Emergency Department and inpatient cases /n -
Experience with Trauma and Stroke patients required /n - Experience
with advanced exams, including Angio of abdomen or head and neck,
required /n
