Overview Job Skills / Requirements First Coast Security
Solutions provides security services nationwide. We are seeking
Director of Training. This role is responsible for the strategic
development, implementation, and oversight of all training
programs. The Director of Training leads credentialing,
certification programs, and instructor development to maintain a
highly trained and mission-ready workforce. Responsibilities
Develop, manage, and evaluate security training programs across
multiple locations nationwide. Ensure all training meets federal,
state, and contractual compliance requirements. Oversee
certification programs including Baton, CPR/AED, First Aid, OC
exposure, Weapons Training, NWDTP and all required recurrent
training. Lead and maintain Train-the-Trainer certifications to
certify internal instructors across disciplines. Create and update
training manuals, SOPs, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
Conduct audits and assessments to ensure training quality,
consistency, and compliance. Coordinate with leadership, program
managers, and site trainers to identify training needs and
implement effective solutions. Ensure training sign in sheets are
properly maintained and provided to site management in a timely
manner Ensure all training exhibits are filled out correctly,
maintained and provided to the site management in a timely manner.
Working Conditions Work is performed in both office and operational
environments. Travel may be required to training sites or contract
locations. Must be able to respond to training needs in a
fast-paced operational setting. May involve conducting or observing
training in both indoor and outdoor settings. Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience in training program development
and management. Strong knowledge of security industry standards,
compliance requirements, and federal contract environments. Ability
to develop, implement, and manage large-scale training programs
across multiple locations. Experience developing policies, training
manuals, and instructional materials. Excellent organizational and
communication skills. Ability to analyze training needs and
implement effective solutions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Suite and training management systems. Ability to work
collaboratively with leadership, program managers, and site
administrators. May require extended periods of sitting, computer
work, and document review. Required Certifications Baton
Certification. CPR/AED and First Aid Certification. OC Spray
Certification. Weapons Training Certification. Train-the-Trainer
Certification in one or more required disciplines. NWDTP Certified
Instructor is a plus Experience Minimum of 10 years of experience
in training management, security operations, law enforcement,
military training, or a related field. Experience developing and
managing structured training programs. Experience working within
government contracts. Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
