Job Summary - Build and refine our money movement platform helping millions of people manage, access and spend their money every day. Your role will be to build API services to be used by mobile and web applications, other internal services, and third-party APIs. Ours is a dynamic Agile Services development environment. Job Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software for financial, money movement and OAuth related services and applicationsDesign and implement high quality code using C#, .NET, SQL that integrate with internal and external customer facing productsCollaborate with Technical Leads, QA, and Product Owners to deliver services per defined requirements or specificationsParticipate in and assist with tuning, redundancy, resiliency, planning, testing, refactoring, optimizing call flowsWrite and maintain complete API specifications, functional designs, and both high and detail level technical design documents Job Requirements - B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field preferredMinimum of 5 years of design and development experience with C#, .NET Framework and/or .NET CoreExperience design, develop, and integration of rest API and Web Services (WCF)Deep understanding of object-oriented design patternsStrong problem-solving, logical and technical skillsAbility to both to work independently and take direction from managerAbility to manage deliverables in a highly energized and fast-paced environment within a framework of constantly shifting deadlines and prioritiesExperience with messaging platforms RabbitMQ, MSMQExperience with caching using Redis, MemCache, nCacheExperience working on High Availability APIs with heavy volume transactions -Experience with NoSQL like Cassandra, MongoDB is a plusExposure to development on any cloud platform is a plusGreen Dot Corporation is committed to achieving a diverse workforce and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any category protected by law.We do not accept unsolicited resumes from employment agencies.
