L3Harris Interstate Electronics Corporation is seeking a highly motivated embedded software engineer to join our Navigation Solutions software development team. Successful candidates perform complex professional software engineering assignments requiring expertise covering a range of the GPS domain within a team environment.

Essential Functions:

• Hands on embedded C development, including integrating and debugging on target hardware
• Embedded software design, development, and test
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development methodology
• Platform experience using Linux/Windows, C and GCC
• Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Engineering, Information Security, Mathematics, Digital Arts & Sciences or related field Preferred Additional Skills:
    • Experience in design, analysis and implementation of deeply embedded software.
    • Experience in GPS receiver development.
    • Familiar with Defense industry typical documentation and milestone reviews In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $76,000 - $141,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
