world. The candidate is responsible for provisioning,
installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems
hardware and software related to a Windows infrastructure for
classified programs. Duties include, but are not limited to, server
management (software and hardware); storage management (logical and
physical); cross platform authentication and access management;
data backup and restoration; software and license configuration;
and workstation support. What You Will Do: Administer and maintain
operational support for software applications and hardware
platforms: Analyze, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve
technical issues Provide technical assistance to users and
excellent customer care Apply hardening security settings Active
Directory Object Management (i.e. User, computer, groups) Manage
NTFS and share permissions Identify, analyze and remediate
technical challenges Administer backups, diagnose and remediate
backup errors Partner with application/project/security/program
teams and third-party vendors to plan, design, and implement new
information technology infrastructure Manage client agents for
server monitoring as well as agents for server management Create
and maintain technical and process documentation Qualifications You
Must Have: Typically requires a University degree or equivalent
experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience,
or an Advanced Degree in a related field. The ability to obtain and
maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible
for a security clearance. 2 years of experience supporting
Microsoft Windows desktops (e.g. Windows 10 and Windows 11)
Experience deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user
data Qualifications We Prefer: Active Secret security clearance
preferred. Experience with cloning techniques Experience with
operating system concepts and implementations Microsoft Windows
Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and
computer objects administration, Group Policy) Experience with
network services as related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g.
DC, DNS, DHCP, etc) Experience with supporting desktop /
workstation hardware and software Experience with an IT
incident/service request system Bitlocker experience Windows
command line and related utilities Experience with server, tape
library, and storage platforms Practical knowledge of server
virtualization (e.g. ESXi) platforms Automation via scripting
Experience with the following Microsoft technologies: MDT/MECM and
WSUS Experience with engineering applications such as MatLab, Green
Hills Software, Doors, and Atlassian Suite CompTIA Security
certification or other industry-recognized certifications relevant

Now! The salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 144,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative
of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when
extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role,
function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as

these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a

structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application
