Job Description:
A company is looking for a VP, Lead Counsel of Insurance Law &
Government Affairs or AVP, Counsel of Insurance Law &
Government.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary legal advisor on regulatory compliance and
business matters
Interact with trade associations and industry organizations on
regulatory and legal issues
Provide legal advice on product development and manage external
legal expenses
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in property and casualty
insurance regulatory law
Ability to manage legal aspects of a large property and casualty
business unit
Excellent legal technical abilities in insurance regulatory and
compliance matters
Strong executive presence and ability to influence at all
organizational levels
