Overview The candidate who is hired for this part-time position will require traveling to some of our local campuses in Ontario, Pasadena, and La Palma, CA. Only candidates that are able to teach at the Campuses should apply. This is not an online position.

As a faculty member you?ll be challenged with adding your professional expertise to instruct a curriculum which is centrally developed with specific learning objectives.
2. Provide timely and detailed feedback on a weekly basis and offer student support via classroom, phone, and email.
3. Utilize classroom learning system technology (provided by university), the Internet, and Microsoft Office software.
4. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.

MUST the pathway below, as well as any applicable clarifications stated, (including education, area of study and previous work experience, including minimum number of years and types of experience):
1. Doctor of Pharmacy
Doctoral Clarification: All faculty must have a minimum of 5 years' applicable professional experience with a minimum of 1 year of current applicable experience within the last 5 years.

REQUIRED CREDENTIAL

• Pharmacists require a current unencumbered or unrestricted license to practice.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching of advanced pharmacology. ADDITIONAL CLARIFICATIONS:
  • Degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Classes run one night a week from 6pm-10pm.
  • All faculty members must have at least one record of scholarship that meets UOPX?s definition of scholarship engagement within the last five years.
