Job Description:

Immediate need for call center representatives for a well known medical eye center. Looking for candidates for part time hours. The position is located onsite in Pasadena. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm). Will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patients, ensuring that patients have the information and assistance they need and maintaining the company---s positive reputation. What do Call Center Representatives do? --- Answer patient calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns. --- De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied patients, offering solutions and support. --- Make outbound calls to provide appointment reminders and reschedule missed appointments. --- Guide callers through troubleshooting, navigating the company site or using the products or services. --- Review patient accounts, providing updates and information about billing, services, and other account items. --- Collaborate with other call center professionals to improve patient service. --- Help to train new employees and inform them about the company's patient and management policies. What Skills do Call Center Representatives Need? --- Strong communication, both written and verbal. --- Great active listening skills. --- Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills. --- A patient and empathetic attitude. --- Ability to de-escalate situations involving dissatisfied patients by offering assistance and support. --- Strong time management and organizational skills. --- Adaptability and flexibility. --- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments. --- Troubleshooting skills, either basic or advanced, depending on the role. --- Computer literacy. --- Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems. REQUIRED: High School education, GED or equivalent. 1 year of prior experience in a Call Center environment. Medical experience is highly preferred. DESIRABLE: Spanish speaking preferred.
