JOB DESCRIPTION -Join Bmo as we revolutionize the future of child care. We offer a fun and -engaging work environment for all of our staff.Bmo summer camp counselors will aide teachers and teacher aides to help -implement weekly themes, lesson plans and daily activities. With all Educare team members, they will maintain a safe, healthy environment for children. -Summer camps will begin on 6/13 and end on 8/13 with a week break on the week of 7/4. -This position is open for two locations: Pasadena and Eagle Rock. Ability to commute to either locations a plus. -RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides support to the teachers and teacher aides to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment.
• Assists the teacher in planning and preparation for daily activities; aids instructional efforts of the teacher.
• Helps prepare -various teaching aids for use in the classroom, including activity sheets, drawings, and similar handouts.
• Presents subject matter to children or adults, under the guidance of a teacher/teacher aide, utilizing a variety of methods including stories, discussions, and role-playing.
• Assists children, individually or in groups, with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to provide activities for children that encourage healthy growth.
  • Child supervision skills.
  • Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for children.
  • Skill in preparing instructional aids and plans.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS -
    • Must pass a background test and LiveScan.
    • Fully COVID-19 Vaccinated and compliance with wearing a mask
    • Must have reliable transportation -PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
      • At least one year of experience working with children within the age ranges of 6 months to 11 yearsPowered by JazzHR
