Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited bachelor's in nursing or a Master of Science in Nursing
    • Associate in Nursing Degree may be considered for current Huntington Hospital employee, must commit to obtaining a bachelor's in nursing within three years from date of transfer/promotion.
    • Newly graduated Registered Nurse with a total of less than one year of nursing experience in any area by the start of the program

Job Description - Family Birth Center RN:Responsible for coordination of care to meet identified needs of the patient/family. Supervises the management of patient care utilizing critical thinking and nursing process, discharge planning, resource identification, monitoring care delivery, advocating for the patient, care planning and evaluating outcomes.
