beyond. - -OffWorld is seeking an -organized and detail-oriented
Facilities and Operations Assistant to oversee the day-to-day
operations of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for coordinating and assisting with various facilities
management tasks, logistics coordination and office administration.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be
able to work independently as well as part of a team.In this role,
you will have the opportunity to:
- Coordinate with cleaning staff to ensure a clean and organized
office environment.
- Organize and oversee general office upkeep, including cleaning,
organizing, and making improvements.
- Schedule and coordinate service contractors for building
repairs and maintenance and obtain competitive quotes.
- Conduct facility assessments to identify areas for improvement
and operational safety.
- Meet with service contractors as needed to facilitate building
repairs and maintenance.
- Manage security features, including access control, cameras,
and alarms.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of office supplies, and order
supplies as needed.
- Receive and coordinate inbound deliveries, update delivery
details, and communicate with the team when items arrive.
- Organize the inventory storage area and ensure that inventory
levels are maintained, and counts are accurate.
- Pick orders for engineers and technicians as needed.
- Assist with preparing and coordinating outbound shipments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and
shipments.
- Prepare items and make arrangements for events and
conferences.
- Scan business expense receipts and transfer business card
contact for the CEO.
- Update events such as birthdays and work anniversaries on the
calendar.
- Organize travel arrangements and insurance for the CEO.
- Sort, scan, and file incoming mail, and send invoices to
accounting, and procurement systems.
- Provide administrative support to the engineering team as
needed.To hit the ground running, you need:
- An Associates degree.
- 3+ years of experience preferred -in facilities management,
logistics coordination, or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management
software.
- Knowledge of security systems and building maintenance is a

Compensation:
- $24.95 per hour + benefitsPay offered may vary depending on
multiple individualized factors, including market location,
job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total
compensation package for this position may also include other
elements dependent on the position offered. Details of
