Job Description:
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:Facilitates a variety of training
programs in operations skills, member service and employee
development. Uses adult learning principles and advanced knowledge
of group dynamics, along with strong facilitation skills to ensure
a safe learning environment. Training consists of classroom
programs; webinars and on-the-job training with other MCC
RepresentativesMonitors performance during training period to
ensure the transfer of knowledge. Recommends additional performance
solutions when appropriate.Gathers performance data used for
measuring the transfer of learning and/or return on investment for
each training program.Review and edit MCC training resources posted
to the internal Resource Center, including fact sheets, videos, and
wikis.Work directly with the Sr. Trainer as well as other Internal
departments to ensure any training materials developed use the most
up-to-date policies and information in a way that is easy to
understand and utilize while serving our members.Assist with
maintaining and archiving policies and procedures and training
materials for possible regulatory reference, and utilize the latest
technologies appropriate for digital and online training materials,
such as user interface graphics, etc.Collaborate with Sr. Trainer
to improve team communications by identifying areas of opportunity
in how we communicate with our teammates, and making changes to our
communication routines, training, resources, and processes to
address those areas.Consistently provides a high level of service
and is committed to increasing member satisfaction. Demonstrates
adherence to Department Service Standards, Signature Experience
Service Standards in addition to enforcement and modeling of our
Mission Statement, Core Values and Team Attributes. Focuses on
delivering Signature Experiences and achieving successful results
in the Member Experience Surveys.Assumes personal accountability
for maintaining high service standards. Creates an environment that
supports teamwork and collaboration within the department and
across the organization.Show proficiency in creating dynamic
PowerPoint presentations and training decks and experience in
developing engaging presentations for executive
leadership.Classroom training will be conducted in our Pasadena
Headquarters or Administrative Offices.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Bachelor's Degree in Education, Instructional
Design or two to five years' experience in designing, developing
and modifying instructional/curriculum materials. Experience
presenting and/or facilitating training courses. Experience in
multimedia arts and applications (e.g. Articulate 360, Adobe
Captivate, and Adobe Creative Suite).Strong facilitation and
instructional design skills for both the classroom and online
learning. Ability to assess training needs and objectives. Advanced
communication skills, both written and oral; presentation skills;
ability to embrace change; detail oriented; creative; goal
oriented; strong organizational skills; ability to work in a
fast-paced environment; ability to work well with others at all
levels of the organization and be a team player. Ability to design,
develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and
initiatives including training plans, curricula, and methodology.
Advanced interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to
work effectively with all levels of the organization.COMPUTER
SKILLS:Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Outlook). Intermediate to advanced knowledge of course
authoring tools (e.g., Adobe, Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia,
etc.) and graphic design tools. Knowledge of animation and video
editing software a plus.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add,
subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers,common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates,
ratios and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.PHYSICAL
DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of

this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit;
use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms,
climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, crawl; talk or hear and

to 10 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception and ability to adjust focus.WORK ENVIRONMENT:This
position may qualify as Remote or Hybrid with a home base at one of
Wescom's offices. The Remote or Hybrid status may be discontinued
by Wescom in its sole discretion at any time and for any reason or
