Summary: Neurophysiology IOM Specialist Needed for Per Diem Position
Seeking a skilled Neurophysiology IOM Specialist to monitor surgical procedures and participate in research to improve the field of IOM.

Job Description

As a Neurophysiology IOM Specialist, you will work with our team to maintain department quality expectations and customer service. You will monitor a wide variety of surgical procedures, including neurosurgery, otolaryngology, vascular, and orthopedic cases, where neural structures are at risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Monitor surgical procedures to ensure patient safety and quality care
  
• Participate in ongoing and original research to improve the field of IOM
  
• Develop and implement training modules for self and team members
  
• Work collaboratively with the Neurophysiology team to achieve department goals
  
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree or Allied Health Care/Nursing credentials preferred or equivalent work experience
    
  • Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in a related neurodiagnostic field, 3-5 years preferred
    
  • Current Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM)
    
  • Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Registration for Evoked Potential Technologists (R. EP T.)
      
      
      Compensation:
      Anticipated base compensation rate is in the range of $62.42 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
