has an opening for a Software Test Engineer with an active
clearance, to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This
position will be in Northridge, CA. Relocation assistance, while
not guaranteed, may be available. The selected candidate for this
position is required to be on-site in Northridge, CA. As an
integral part of our multi-discipline engineering team in Advanced
Weapons, you will be on the forefront of developing next generation
solutions to protect technology for our nation's warfighters. The
ideal candidate will be supporting one of our programs for defining
and architecting a secured missile weapon system. This position
will require close collaboration with team members of other
projects within the organization for security architecture designs
as well as external partners and customers. Roles and
responsibilities A successful candidate will have the qualities and
essential functional expertise to:
- Proficiency in C++, Java or similar languages
- Creating and running unit test
- Comfortable operating hardware and testing software at a system
level (in a lab environment)
- Developing software documentation
- Collaborating with Stakeholders and Government customersBasic
qualifications for a Software Test Engineer level (T02): -
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering
or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university
and 2 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 0 years
of related experience.
- Proficiency in C++
- Experience with Git and Atlassian Tools (Jira, Bitbucket,
Jenkins, Nexus, etc.)
- Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government
DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application which is
required to start.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation or analysis
- Agile Scrum
- Experience with embedded flight software
- Jira - issue tracking and agile project management, or similar
tool
- Multi-core and multi-threaded programming
- Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools
- Comfortable working in a lab environment
- Familiar using test equipment (Oscilloscopes, signal
generators, etc.)
- Current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security

below:Salary Range: $81,300 - $121,900The above salary range
represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers
a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the
scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's
experience, education, skills and current market
conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for
overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition
to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage,
