Expedition: The Content Manager will manage and coordinate the
creation, execution, and production of internal and external
content. This includes, but not limited to, traditional and digital
content, event and tradeshow content, marketing campaigns etc. The
Content Manager role under his/her scope will be a critical part of
the Marketing team and take an active role in conceptualizing and
producing in-house content. The role will also ensure that internal
and external content is conform to our B1 Content standards as well
as in-house Compliance and Legal standards. This role will work
with the product, commercial, technical and operations teams to
design and craft content and campaigns promoting GGA’s Corporate,
B2B/B2B2C Travel and Health Business Lines. He/she will manage,
coordinate and support development and delivery of contractually
required plan/program materials. In this role, the Content Manager
will collaborate with many other departments in the organization
and will be responsible for managing multiple assignments
simultaneously. This position will report directly to the VP,
Marketing Agency-Content Owner. Chart Your Course: Support the
development - in partnership with VP of Marketing Agency - of a
comprehensive, multichannel content plan that supports the customer
value journey, with emphasis on nurturing prospect and retaining
existing customers with compelling content. Work closely and
partner with VP of Marketing Agency to sustain the annual content
calendar and oncoming internal and partner requests for our GGA
Corporate brand as well as our B2B/B2B2C Travel and Health Business
Lines. Manage and coordinate the execution and production of
original and engaging content for (but not limited to) email
marketing, websites, newsletters, presentations, collaterals,
events, advertising, RFPs etc. Research and source multi-format
content for owned channels. Oversee the collection and organization
of information, preparation, editing, revision, and status for
contractual plan/program related materials. Review all content for
tone, voice, clarity, and consistency of messaging. Be a B1 Content
Champion. Provide or coordinate special documentation services as
required, which may include collection, development, editing, and
peer review of proposals, training, and other materials as
assigned. Assist in developing internal policies and procedures,
especially as it relates to communications best practices. Manage
multiple priorities in a proactive manner to ensure that all
deliverables meet established deadlines. Stay current with new
advances and innovations in the travel insurance, vacation rental
insurance, cost containment and B2B/B2B2C marketing fields. Lead
on-site and remote training sessions to enhance the skill of
marketing and commercial teams. Collaborate with marketing and
commercial teams to develop strategies and drive innovation.
Provide direct support on KPI measurements and reporting. Your
Ticket to Success: Required Qualifications: Minimum of 6 years of
experience in marketing, copywriting or editing roles required.
Travel insurance industry experience preferred. Working knowledge
of Workfront required. Previous experience working with B2B/B2B2C
marketing content in a regulated industry strongly desired. A
proven ability to write with varying tone and the ability to
translate technical and industry jargon into content that is of
interest to our audiences. HTML knowledge and experience working in
an online content management system (CMS) strongly desired.
Intermediate level experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word,
Outlook, and PowerPoint) preferred; Basic to intermediate
CS5/InDesign level experience is a plus. Must be proficient in the
English language (verbal and written). Ability to collaborate with
all areas of the organization. Effective organization and time
management skills. Self-motivated, with ability to manage
multi-projects simultaneously, including tasks from both marketing
and commercial teams. Strong project management skills: can manage
projects start to finish. Demonstrated ability to drive
organizational change by influencing others without direct
reporting authority. Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in
English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or similar degree
preferred. Position Coordinates: This is a hybrid role based out of
our San Diego, CA office. As a hybrid role, you will be working
onsite 2-3 days a week and working from home 2-3 days a week. Time
for Take-off: While there is some flexibility in the hours, this
position will be Monday-Friday during regular business hours
(approximately 8:00am-5:00pm). Occasional overtime may be required
according to business need. Pay Range: $90,000 annually One team.
