Mako Waves Distribution is a rapidly growing trucking company looking for motivated and professional NIGHTTIME Class A CDL drivers for local routes NOW! We are partnered to haul freight exclusively for Amazon, allowing us to provide the benefits of a large business while embodying the culture of a small one. Amazon provides state of the art technology, equipment, logistics software, and support to ensure our drivers are the best equipped and prepared out there on the road. Our facility is based in San Bernardino, CA and will begin and end at our yard so drivers will be home after each shift. Virtually all loads are Drop and Hook and you can work as little as 3 days, or as much as 4 days, earning between $52,000 - $70,000 per year depending on number of shifts worked. Our partnership with Amazon provides steady work and expanded operations during the peak months of November - December. In Addition, we are Currently offering a $1,000 Signing bonus for new employees! Drivers are scheduled to work three (3) 13 hour shifts per week Sunday-Saturday, with opportunities for overtime when Mako Waves operates an extra day during the Amazon peak season of November - December. Wages start at $25 per hour with additional Safety and Performance bonuses. Other key benefits are Paid Time Off (PTO) accrued at a rate of 4% of hours worked and participation in the 401 (k) program with employer matching. We are currently only looking for NIGHTTIME DRIVERS with start times ranging between 18:00 - 01:00. Drivers must be able to work any day of the week with no restrictions on their schedules. CDL Class A Truck Driver Overview: - Full time employment, 13 Hour Blocks, 3 CONSECUTIVE WORKDAYS available. - Local routes average 300-500 miles roundtrip. Based in San Bernardino CA, home each shift - Our deliveries are nearly all drop and hook - NEW 2022 CNG Automatic Tractors with the latest equipment and driver assistance technology. - Opportunities for consistent work based on our Amazon Freight Partnership - Weekly Pay with Direct Deposit. - Benefits Include: Heath Insurance, Dental and Vision, 401K with employer match, PTO, Safety and Performance bonuses, and Referral Bonuses. CDL Class A Driver, Minimum Requirements: - Must be at least 23 years old with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience. - Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public. To understand highway traffic signs and signals in English. Must be able to properly fill out reports and enter information into Apps and Newest Technology Provided by Amazon. - No current CDL suspension or revocation. No failed drug tests in last 3 years. - Must have a clean driving record. - Must pass a DOT physical, Drug Test and Background Check - Ability to effectively learn and operate a GPS enabled software and hardware. - Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications.
