responsible for subcontracted projects, reoccurring /
non-reoccurring preventive maintenance (PM), and corrective
maintenance (CM) activities. The position is located at the NASA
Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA- JPL).Job Title: Maintenance
Scheduler / Planner (JPL)Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services,
Inc. has an immediate need for a Maintenance Scheduler / Planner to
support our client JPL in Pasadena, CA. This position will plan,
schedule, and manage the execution of all Internal Work Stream PMs,
CMs Trouble Calls (TCs) and Repair orders. In addition, this
position is responsible for closing out all assigned work orders
within the computer maintenance management system (CMMS) by
ensuring data accuracy and by meeting JPL and EGS
requirements.Duties and Responsibilities:Using Maximo, works
closely with the Maintenance Manager and Sr. Operations Manager
(Ops) to prepare the monthly / weekly internal maintenance
schedule, including all preventive maintenance, CM, TC and Repair
W/OsUnder the direction of the Maintenance Manager assigns work to
the appropriate EGS internal technicians to meet all JPL TDD
time-line requirements.Orders and or queues all critical materials
needed for critical TC and Repair orders that are assigned to
internal technicians.Runs Maximo reports on all internal labor and
work orders to ensure that the contract priorities and requirements
are met.Follow up with EMCOR Management and JPL customers to ensure
we are meeting TC, Repairs, and PM completion goalsCoordinates and
communicates with area users / JPL customers on work orders or
potential impacts to work areas / buildings.Creates and reviews PM
job plans to adequately address the required PM work scope and meet
JPL TDD requirements.Supports the Operations Manager and
Maintenance manager with the development and execution of the
annual work plan.Track timely completions of internal labor and
work orders and execute follow-on work as needed.Perform quality
control checks with the Maintenance Manager and reports out
findings.Coordinates with area users / customers on project details
and potential impacts to work areas / buildings.Prepares reports
and forecasts for SDLRs when neededPerforming numerous other duties
as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED
required.Minimum 5 years of experience in scheduling / planning
maintenance activities.Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working
with CMMS systems (Maximo experience preferred).Trade school /
craft certificate preferred.Strong oral and written communications
skills.Working knowledge of building trades, craft skills, and
engineering, or comparable industry experience.Working knowledge of
regulatory code requirements (local / state) and with Cal-OSHA, and
OSHA.The ability to write reports, business correspondence, and set
and manage priorities to meet all deadlines.Ability to effectively
present information and respond to customer questions from Various
JPL groups and customers.Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel,
Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)Valid driver's license.Willingness to
work after-hours, weekends as needed.EMCOR Government Services
