Job Description:
OverviewThe Jr. Compensation Analyst will research job
requirements and evaluate job positions to ensure the company
remains competitive in salary offerings. Responsibilities include
creating and evaluating job descriptions, utilizing market salary
data to ensure fair pay, and ensuring compliance with local, state,

- Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
- 3-month temporary positionResponsibilities
- Assess jobs and duties to classify as exempt or nonexempt and
determine appropriate salary ranges
- Benchmark jobs using survey data and market intelligence to
establish competitive compensation ranges
- Maintain job classifications and salary scales
- Prepare and present reports on job and compensation
analysis
- Gather and analyze data from market surveys using spreadsheets
and data analysis techniques
- Evaluate and implement job analysis tools and materials
- Monitor and audit compensation practices for compliance with
policies and laws
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to offer competitive
salaries and conduct salary analyses for job offers
- Participate in compensation surveys and ensure timely
submissions
- Provide insights to enhance the salary structure for career
development and appropriate grading
- Demonstrate advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP
- Apply quantitative and qualitative research methods
extensively
- Maintain knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best
practices
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Organize and manage time efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
- Pay close attention to detail with high accuracy
- Manage multiple deadlines effectively
- Perform other duties as assignedQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Compensation Analyst
- Must be fingerprinted prior to reporting, with subsequent
arrest notifications, per licensing and law requirements
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (Adult and Child/Infant)
obtained within 30 days of hire from organizations such as the
American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety
& Health InstitutePay RangeUSD $29.94 - USD $35.93 per hour
